Going through the finish flags of my first Grand Prix on one of my favourite horses Silversmith (Charlie)
Most difficult time relating to horses?
Having to retire Charlie due to injury not long after completing the Grand Prix
Best bit of advice you have been given?
You regret the things you don’t do more than the things you do

I love my horse shoe nail pendant, it looks classy and has a great memory of a special horse in it

Winning both the National One Day Champs and the National Three Day Champs (both at 1*) on Peace Train in the same season and it being his first season Eventing
Favourite horse memory?
Winning 2 National titles on Peace Train
Most difficult time relating to horses?
Having my horse Elsa break her shoulder mid cross country and having to be put down. I managed to finish the event on the other 5 horses I had entered but leaving the event with one less truly was one of the hardest moments of my life.
Best bit of advice you have been given?
Horses are not machines and every horse is different. Training programs need to be adjusted to suit each individual horse.
Favourite piece in the Equine Mementos range?
By far The Pixie Pendant. It is so elegant and perfect for everyday wear. I get so many compliments on it from non horsey people and wear it everyday and for special events.

Competing overseas for the first time.

Losing our two best horses in the same month.

You’ll learn something from everyone you meet even if it’s learning what doesn’t work for you.

Runner up in the Rising Star Showhunter Title Class at Nationals Championships
Competing at 1* Level this season and placing 5th at SI One Day Championships
Favourite horse memory?
My first eventing win not that long ago in the 105 was pretty special on my superstar Shianne especially after losing my 2 horses not that long beforehand, so it reminded me why I love this sport! The little wins are also super important to me like having a better dressage than the week before or ticking off one of my goals that I had been working towards such as my first ride on my youngster Stella which had me grinning from ear to ear!!
Most difficult time relating to horses?
I’ve had a pretty tough time recently after having to put down my very talented pony Lacey who had been dealing with an unknown condition that had all the vets stumped and it was becoming more apparent that she wasn’t comfortable anymore so the horrible call was made. Five days later I lost my beautiful first homebred foal ‘Freddie’ after his health went downhill very quickly and the vets just couldn’t do anything to save him. It definitely made me question why I put myself through the pain and the heartbreak.
Best bit of advice you have been given?
Love the horse first and the sport second.
Favourite piece in the Equine Mementos range? Why?
I adore my stirrup necklace that I wear constantly with one of my old ponies Cookie’s hair in it or the bracelet charms which are so easy to keep adding to with all my special horses!

Favourite horse memory?
Either winning my first 3* on As Good As You Get or getting 2nd in 5-year-old Horse of the Year on Stallion MF Starburst after picking up the ride 2 weeks prior.
Most difficult time relating to horses?
After Mum’s accident trying to navigate the new normal and understanding the life changing effects
Best bit of advice you have been given?
Anything is possible when you have the right people there to support you.

I love my stirrup necklace; it has such a special meaning as well as looking very elegant and is very durable for everyday use!

Favourite horse memory?
Winning the Junior rider at Nationals in 2024.
Most difficult time relating to horses?
Navigating the ups and downs of the sport has been one of the biggest challenges.
Learning to manage setbacks, stay focused, and grow through each experience has been an important part of my development as a rider.
Best piece of advice you’ve been given?
“Results don’t always reflect the way you ride.”
That reminder has helped me stay grounded and focus on progress rather than just outcomes.
